1. About Jeevo
These Booking Terms apply to tours and travel services organised by Jeevo.
Jeevo is based at 31 Wellington Estate, DLF Phase 5, Gurugram 122002, Haryana, India
Email: jeevotoursandtravels@gmail.com Telephone: / +91 98100 22651
2. Services
Jeevo organises guided trips in India and selected trips to Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam.
Services may include hotels; vehicles and drivers; local guides; trekking; rafting; wildlife safaris; permits; activities; and other services identified in the written booking confirmation.
Jeevo is not IATA accredited and does not sell air tickets.
Where you ask us to, we may arrange flights for you through a licensed third party. In that case the ticket is issued by that third party or the airline, the contract for the flight is between you and them, and their conditions of carriage and fare rules apply. We are not responsible for an airline's delays, cancellations, schedule changes or baggage handling.
3. Jeevo's role
Jeevo acts as the principal organiser of the confirmed itinerary. We are responsible for reasonable care in designing, organising, and coordinating the confirmed services.
Hotels, drivers, guides, activity operators, and other suppliers remain responsible for operating their own services and may have their own terms.
Jeevo will respond reasonably to confirmed service failures and will try to arrange suitable alternatives where possible.
4. Booking confirmation
A website page, enquiry, proposal, email, or Arjun itinerary does not create a booking.
A contract is formed only when:
1. Jeevo sends written booking confirmation; 2. the confirmation identifies the services and price; and 3. Jeevo receives the required payment.
The written booking confirmation controls if it conflicts with earlier information.
5. Payment
Payment terms for each booking, including any amount payable up front and the date the balance is due, are set out in the written booking confirmation.
If payment is not received by the date given, Jeevo may cancel the booking after reasonable notice. Cancellation charges may apply.
6. Prices
The price is not final until full payment has been received.
Before full payment, the price may change because of supplier availability or price changes; taxes and government charges; permits; fuel and transport costs; currency movements; or changes requested by the customer.
Jeevo will notify the customer of a material change before requiring full payment.
The price becomes fixed after full payment, except for customer-requested changes or changes required by law.
7. Supplier-specific terms
Some services may have stricter cancellation or payment terms, including luxury trains, peak-season hotels, permits, festivals, and special activities.
Jeevo will disclose material supplier-specific terms before payment or in the booking confirmation. Those terms may apply instead of the standard cancellation terms for the affected service.
8. Customer cancellation
Cancellation must be sent to Jeevo by email. It takes effect when received.
Cancellation charges apply, and the charges for your booking are set out in your written booking confirmation. They reflect what our suppliers charge us, any non-refundable permits or tickets, and costs we are unable to recover.
Charges may reflect supplier cancellation fees, non-refundable permits or tickets, transaction costs, reasonable administration, and reasonable loss of the booking opportunity.
Unused services, missed transport, late arrival, early departure, or voluntary non-use are not automatically refundable.
9. Cancellation or changes by Jeevo
Jeevo may cancel or change a trip where services are unavailable; a supplier cannot provide a confirmed service; an activity becomes unsafe; a permit is unavailable; an event outside reasonable control affects the trip; payment is overdue; or the booking cannot reasonably be performed.
Where appropriate, Jeevo may offer a suitable alternative, a revised itinerary, or a refund for services not provided.
Mandatory consumer rights are not affected.
10. Itinerary changes
Minor changes may include changes to timings, sightseeing order, restaurants, guides, vehicles, or comparable accommodation.
A significant change may include removal of a principal destination; substantial reduction in trip duration; removal of a major activity; material reduction in accommodation standard; substantial increase in travel time; material increase in price; or material increase in risk.
For a significant change, Jeevo will explain the change and, where reasonably possible, offer an alternative or a refund for services not provided.
11. Force majeure
Jeevo is not responsible for disruption caused by events outside reasonable control, including monsoon, flooding, landslides, or extreme weather; strikes; political unrest; terrorism; border closures; epidemics or pandemics; government restrictions; road, rail, or airport closures; changes in law; permit restrictions; or extraordinary supplier failure.
Jeevo will communicate material changes and consider reasonable alternatives, credits, or refunds. Refunds may depend on amounts recovered from suppliers and services already provided.
12. Insurance
Travel insurance is a condition of booking.
You must obtain insurance covering the itinerary and relevant risks, including medical treatment; emergency evacuation; cancellation and interruption; baggage; personal liability; trekking; rafting; wildlife activities; and high-altitude travel.
Jeevo does not sell, arrange, recommend, or assess insurance.
13. Travel documents and health
You are responsible for passports, visas, permits, vaccination documents, health requirements, and entry permissions.
Jeevo does not provide visa, medical, vaccination, health, safety, or fitness advice.
Trekking, rafting, wildlife safaris, and high-altitude travel involve genuine risks, including serious injury, illness, altitude sickness, and death.
You should obtain independent medical advice where appropriate and disclose relevant medical conditions, allergies, medication, pregnancy, disability, or other circumstances that may affect participation.
14. Customer conduct
Customers must follow reasonable instructions and must not endanger, threaten, abuse, harass, or unlawfully interfere with others.
Jeevo may refuse participation or remove a customer where reasonably necessary for safety or the protection of people or property.
Where removal results from the customer's conduct, the customer may be responsible for resulting costs and may not receive a refund for unused services, subject to applicable law.
15. Luggage and personal property
You are responsible for your luggage, valuables, money, electronics, documents, and personal property.
Jeevo is not responsible for loss caused solely by your actions, ordinary travel risks, supplier handling, or events outside reasonable control, except where liability cannot legally be excluded or the loss resulted from Jeevo's negligence.
16. Complaints
You must report problems to Jeevo or the relevant supplier as soon as reasonably possible during the trip. This gives Jeevo an opportunity to investigate and correct the problem.
Complaints should be sent to jeevotoursandtravels@gmail.com
Failure to report a problem during the trip may affect the available remedy where it was reasonably possible to report it, but does not remove mandatory legal rights.
17. Photography and reviews
Jeevo will request permission before using customer photographs, videos, testimonials, first names, or cities for marketing.
Permission may be withdrawn by contacting Jeevo. Withdrawal will not affect lawful use that occurred before withdrawal.
Jeevo will not knowingly publish a child's image or identifying information without appropriate parental or guardian consent.
18. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by Jeevo's negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; mandatory consumer rights; or other non-excludable liability.
Subject to this protection, Jeevo is not responsible for loss caused solely by the customer's actions; inaccurate information supplied by the customer; failure to follow reasonable instructions; an independent supplier decision; an event outside reasonable control; or failure to obtain suitable insurance or travel documents.
Jeevo remains responsible for reasonable care in organising and coordinating the confirmed itinerary.
19. Refunds
Refunds are subject to the cancellation schedule, supplier recovery, services provided, payment-provider requirements, and applicable law.
20. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of India, subject to mandatory consumer rights in the customer's country of residence.
Proposed wording:
21. Changes and severability
The version of these Terms accepted when a booking is made will apply to that booking.
Jeevo may update these Terms for future bookings. The updated version will be published with a new date.
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
