This policy sets out how Jeevo Tours and Travels uses and protects the information you give us. If we ask for details by which you can be identified, you can be assured they will only be used as described here.
We may update this page from time to time.
What we collect
When you enquire or chat with Arjun: your name, email and phone number, where and when you want to travel, how many of you there are and the ages of any children, your budget, the sort of hotel you prefer, and anything else you tell us.
Once you book: your passport details and a record of what you have paid.
When you browse: basic website statistics, such as which pages were visited.
If you are booking for a family, a parent or guardian should give us the children's details. Please don't type passport numbers or card details into Arjun — send those to us directly when we ask.
What we do with it
We use your information to answer you, plan and book your trip, take payment, meet the reporting requirements Indian law places on us for foreign guests, and keep the accounting records we are obliged to keep. We may send you occasional news if you have said you'd like it.
With your permission we may publish your review or photographs. We always ask first, and you can change your mind.
Arjun
Arjun is a chatbot, not a person. He runs on Google's Gemini service, so what you type is sent to Google to generate a reply, and we keep the conversation so a real consultant can pick up where he left off.
He drafts itineraries. He doesn't confirm bookings, quote final prices, or decide anything about your visa, health or insurance. A person at Jeevo always does that.
Security
We limit who at Jeevo can see your details, store them with established providers, and pass on only what a hotel, driver, guide or authority needs in order to look after you.
We never sell your information.
Cookies
A cookie is a small file a website places on your device. We use them to make the site work and to count visitors through Google Analytics, so we can see which pages are useful.
You can refuse cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work.
Links to other sites
Once you follow a link away from our website, we have no control over where you land. Those sites are not covered by this policy, so please check their own.
How long we keep it
We delete your information within a week of your trip ending.
If you enquired but didn't end up travelling with us, we delete it after a year.
The only thing we keep is your invoice, because Indian tax law requires us to hold financial records. Nothing else stays.
